The academic year is divided in two semesters i.e. the fall semester (September-December) and the winter semester (January-May).   • Apply for visa once you obtain an I-20 from the college or institution.
  • Once you have submitted the completed application form along with above documents, an immigration officer at Canadian embassy/ consulate/ high commission may ask for an interview.
