University of Toronto
The University of Toronto is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Founded in 1827 as King’s College by royal charter, it is the first institution of higher learning. It has total student population of around 60,000. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings of 2016 ranks the University of Toronto at 22nd place globally and 1st in Canada, while the QS World University Rankings of 2016 placed the university at 32nd in the world and 2nd in Canada.
